Postby KOBETWO on Mon Dec 13, 2004 9:12 pm

I also have some suggestions with some players` ratings:
LAC:up M.MOORE DUNK and DUNKPACK also OVERALL he can dunk like WILCOX in the same team!!
LAL:down GEORGE`s DUNKPACK and OVERALL, with the 1.02 he can dunk like C.MAGGETTE!!!
down J.Jones `s DUNK ratings,no one would think ha has the ability to join the SLAMDUNKC.
up B.COOK`s 3pt,please check out 3 pts made per 48 min,he did a good job!!!
SAC:lots of to do.......
CW PEJA and BM`s ratings should be valuated carefully
CW must be the top ratings in SAC
(I`m chinese,forgive my poor English)

I definetely think that Josh Smith's block rating is too low (current rating is 5). He's averaging 1 block, but when he gets consistent minutes he blocks very well.
Play the game, win the fight!

justa few suggestions...

Beno Udrih is emerging as one fine PG in San Antonio. His 3p % is really good..

In Indiana, James Jones, Fred Jones and even Eddie Gill are shooting really good from behind the arc. Is artest really that sow (58)?

Primoz Brezec, his FG, inside scoring and blocking should go up.

Corliss Williamson is #14, not #30.
Marc Jackson now wear some bands in his left arm.
AI wrist double rubberbands.
Iguodala bands in his left arm, and in his right leg.

Great job with this patch!!!

Gonna give a plug to a few guys:

Steve Nash: he made Dallas a contender - now he's making the Suns a contender - yes he's got help, but I don't think QRich made turned the Suns from a 29 win team to a league leader...he's currently, arguably the best PG in the NBA - http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/st ... eel/041215 ....having said all this - I am not sure exactly what ratings to up....he's 7th in FG% in hte NBA @ 53% - a PG 7th  - so maybe a bit of an increase in FG and 3Pt???....he is well ahead on assists so maybe his Off Awareness could go up too.

Maurice Williams: having a great year for the Bucks....9th in the NBA in APG....I know he's no speed freak but his speed and quickness are quite low for a PG...his ball handling certainly needs to go up from 48 and dribbling maybe up a bit from 60....and I have also read that he hussles quite well on D....maybe his FG could go up a little too - not the greatest shooter but 51 seems low - certainly not a 3pt shooter - but I read he is great at driving for layups.....fatigue should certianly go up as he is getting very good mins.

Just a suggestion Anderw!...since the all-star balloting, i suggest that, if possible can you change the all-star line-up basing it on the current voting result!...

Sure. (Y)

About the All-Star teams: I'd prefer to make changes a little closer to All-Star Weekend with a special quick release once the teams are finalised. I'll then release another version soon after the All-Star Weekend (but before the trade deadline) with more accurate All-Star lineups ie the bench ordered by the number of minutes the reserves actually played.

hey Andrew, I used your rosters to get missing players into the game, but I think it's creating a problem... I copied the players from the NLSC .dbf to my rosters (which is different from the NLSC one). Now I get a codebase error when I go to certain teams like the Bulls and wizards in the free agent screen and reorder rosters screen. How do I fix this?

Did u also copy the data for the new players in appearance.dbf? EA moved player appearance data to this file for Live05 - the appearid field is the same as the playerid in hte players.dbf file.

Andrew, can you up Gentle Ben's ratings? He's really come out as of late and do the Nets/Raptors trade?

It wouldn't be much of an update if I didn't make the transactions, but thanks for the reminder anyway. ;)

I noted the change in the boxscores and the Heat game I saw since the last update, but thanks for that reminder too. :)

I think Tim Thomas isn't play well in this season, he can score about 13-14 points, also get about 4-5 rebounds per game. Hope you will correct his rating, Andrew  .
