This is something I found on EA's website forums (not my idea) and it works: ;)

Go to My Documents\NBA LIVE 2005\config -- there chose your saved keyboard (mine is Laf.kfg) and open it with notepad!
Type these rows at the top:

bind K_X RXAXISCHANGE (insted of X chose another key, your choice)
bind K_W RYAXISCHANGE (insted of W chose another key, your choice)

This works...in another post I found two more rows added:

bind K_T XAXISCHANGE (change T if you like)
bind K_F YAXISCHANGE (change F if you like)

You can use the numpad numbers, just type NUMPAD0, NUMPAD1 etc.

Haven't tried it with the last two rows, but I'm sure it'll give you more options of tossing the ball. :)

Use only:

bind K_X RXAXISCHANGE (insted of X chose another key, your choice)
bind K_W RYAXISCHANGE (insted of W chose another key, your choice)

...you can't have more then 1 key assigned for each axis.

YEAH IT WOOORKS!!! haha tnx! Now I just have to catch the ball! haha... its hard!!! So we can create dif throws with this 2keys? :?:

More power to you if you guys start puling them off. Its gonna be nearly impossible to do 360s and stuff at the same time, just not enough fingers.
maybe see if you can use a mappin program or something... maybe pre-setup the harder combinations to one or two keys.. :)

Don't know, haven't tried it much yet. Still busy learning how to play 5 on 5. :)

Thanks for your help, lafce!

I'm buying a joypad but now I can try some alley-oops before having it.

Cheers!

yes it is ;) I can do 360s with the keyboard pretty easily

this stuff is awesome, and did you notice that you can use the freestyle dribbling control with this also?

Is there a possibility to add the "up" and "down" to the file? because these two adjustments only give two directions of the d-pad

thanx heaps lafce

Thanx a lot, lafce. I searched through so many posts and not one has given me any answers to knowing how to produce an alley-oops. Now all i gotta do is get use to doing em. Btw, are there any more key bindings for my alley-oop tricks. If so, pls tell me or show me a link to the threads.

Thanx ppl.

pardon me if my terms are wrong

i couldn't do tosses with the key board either so i bought a usb adapter so i could use my ps2 controller with my laptop. Suprisingly it works just like a ps2 controller works. I was just expecting to use it on dunk contests but i like using a controller in the game now as well cause i find freestyling much easier and more effective this way.
