"Better late than never" NBA Live 2005 Review

(I'm going to be lazy and repost what I wrote on the main page)

It's a little late and coming in between the retrospective reviews, but I've finally completed a review of NBA Live 2005. If you're still debating whether to get the game or just want to see what I think of this year's game, then I suggest you give it a look.

Can you post your sliders Andrew? cuz it seems like you did a great job with them....

yah the sliders would be sweet if you can do some for 5 minute quarters on all star that be cool too.

Good review but a comment on the slow pass, catch, stop, then move animations should've been mentioned. I find one of the most frustrating things about the game is making a slow pass to a wide open player who takes his time "catching" and gathering the ball before he can attack the basket. You'll never see Amare Stoudemire do that

Thanks for the comments guys. I did omit a few details as I'm reviewing the game a little late. But you are certainly right, that is a problem with the fastbreaks this year.

As it happens, I've just released my sliders today. A word of warning: while I've achieved good results with these settings, they may not work for everybody. They should at least provide a base to tailor them to your style of play though.

i have to agree the passing to an open player needs to be fixed. it should happen occasionally but not by good passers.
