Where is the Edit Player Option

Postby MCalca1706 on Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:45 pm

Where is the Edit Player Option?
It's no longer under Roster Management.
I hope they did not leave out such an important part of the game!
If it's still there, how exactly, do you get to it?

Thank You

Edit Player Option

Thank you for the helpful reply.

I really hope that this doesn't mean, that only created players, can be edited.
That would be really bad.
Thank You

Editing Players

Postby MCalca1706 on Thu Nov 18, 2004 6:58 pm

Thank you for the assistance. I will try again today.
I was fearful that this very important feature had been left out.
Thank You

It threw me when I first got the game too. Although I'm used to this year's menus I did prefer the layout of the Roster Management menus that they've used the last couple of years. Of course, I preferred the old PC specific menus from 2001 and earlier, but some of the menus were arranged a little better in NBA Live 2004.

Thank You Again, I was able to Edit Players

Postby MCalca1706 on Fri Nov 19, 2004 1:36 pm

Andrew
Thank You again. I found it and I was finally able to edit any player from any team. I don't understand why EA had to make it so hard to find.

Thank you also to the other forum member who helped with this issue.

Thank You
Happy Thangsgiving to all the forum members and staff.

Still Having a Problem Saving Editing Changes

Postby MCalca1706 on Sun Nov 21, 2004 6:20 pm

Hello
As I said previously, I am now able to edit players, but now I find, that the next time I load the game all the player changes are gone!

After editing, I pressed done and got the message "player changes sucessfully made", so why are the changes gone the next time I load the game? This is a real pain in the neck! What am I msissing here?

I read somewhere on the forum, that camera changes are not saved and that there is no way to save game and player stats to text files (Pstat & Gstat) like in NBA 2004. Is this true? So far, I don't like many of the changes I'm seeing.

Thanks Again

The rosters will be reset to default upon exiting the game. You'll need to save your rosters and load them each time you start the game. And yes, we can't save game stats this year.
