cant control player as well when i use turbo button

ok so when im using turbo its hard to control my player. like if i want to change directions he will run around in a circle. anyone know what i mean?

Otherwise people would just keep their finger pressed on sprint button.

Now think of this, take yourself, and the ball, and run and dribble as fast as you can. Now try doing those 90 degree turns at this pace, wait, do those 180s!

is there a "momentum" setting in this year's NBA Live?
have a look around for it
there used to be one in a few of the past Lives where you can make turns instantly and unrealistically

yeah but this is the first year where its messed up like this. also i played the 03 demo and its way more fun than 05. why is this year so boring?

Maybe it's more 'boring' because they are trying to make it more 'real'. People can't change directions on a dime, you know.

why in the world do people want to play a realistic game? ITS NOT REAL. IT SHOULD BE FUN!!!!!! im sick of hearing everyone say "i want a slow pace game with realism" and other crap like "yeah i like the game better this year because when the player is on the weak side with the ball his defenders will set a screen then the defense will lock down......." all that kind of crap. 2003 WAS THE MOST FUN. dang ya want real b ball? watch it on tv.

I'm one of those realism freaks, but this game is too slow, and I agree it's more boring this year. There's no flow, but I do find 2003 to be too fast paced and, dare I use that word, unrealistic

SIMULATION = emulates reality.
Of course people want a real basketball game. It's people like you who have turned the past nba lives into dunkfests. Play NBA street. That's fun arcadey basketball. Can't you realize the difference? Or can you not grasp that. Approval from 2k5? Last time I checked, NBA Live outsold ESPN. What are you saying? Everything you say is so incoherent it's mind boggling, especially your sudden insertion of the 2k series. ESPN is also a sim game -_-;;. I don't get why you'd want a turbo charged dunkfested SIM game. Get NBA Street if you want that.

03 wasn't that realistic. I would usually shoot 70+%. Occasionally, I'd shoot 90%. I scored way too easily. It was fun, except it also got frustrating trying to defend the AI when they were shooting 60%.

yeah but the fast break dunks were sick, the way the sound was when u went up for the jam.... the announcers getting all into it...... the fast tempo...... the cut scenes....... the drama. THAT WAS A GAME
