A centers´s game?

I don´t know if it´s a problem with my playing style, but my C´s and PF´s are getting too much points and shooting a lot more than my mid-range shooters.

For example, last time, playing with Denver, my top scorre was Markus Camby (30), followed by Martin (>15); both of them scoring more than Carmelo.

Medium range shootig sliders are set to 45, same as long range shooting, but I just made 1 3p. I can´t find a hole to shoot, CPU defense is too tight and I usually get blocked or forced to miss. Shotblock slider was set to 0.

maybe the "on-ball physical defense" too high

I think it depends on the play style. In NBA you can give other players more ball having them score more, but usually better players are used. For example, 98 LAC-DAL game, estonian named Muursepp scored 22 points, while being a low substitute. Gameplay didnt involve many stars, so ball was played on him more. Same with you, you played more ball to Camby and had more shots for him. Learn to play with guards, get used to quick ball movement, confusing the opponent. Star like Anthony can do quite a few dribbles and get quick open shots (even when pro hopping "backwards" for an open). In theory, the best Live 2005 players manage to be succesful with every player on the cours. Everyone being 75, playing 5 games, its possible to have in every game different top-star, with similar shooting statistics and gametime. Even though computer may use PG alot more than in previous versions, they too can be stopped quite well.

Just depends on your gameplay style. Some say forwards are pointless and guards overpowered. Some say vice versa. This shows the variety of options in Live 2005. Train the gameplay of your guards more and youll evolve as a Live gamer

Although I try to get everybody involved, I do find that it is easier to score with my big men because they're always open or positioned close to the net. Not to mention the easy post game and lack of guards blowing by the defenders gives the post men better chances.

I got the game last week and started a dynasty mode straight up... I am currently 3-6 with a fantasy drafted Houston team that starts Bender-Amare-Hill-Gordon-LBJ...

What is different from last season is that the play with guards is alot easier as they sometimes get open and you can sometimes even shoot over the defending players... Which you really couldn't do in 2004...

I yesterday played against a team that holds Tim Duncan and man was that tough... I couldn't get sheit done under the hoop as TimmyD was everwhere and just dominated on the offensive end as well as defending under the hoop.

Scoring with the big guys is still quite a good option but not as good as it was in Live 2004... In 2004 you could hit that hook shot all night long and the CPU had nothing to throw up against it except the double team... Now it can make your life difficult and harder and not being able to dump the ball down low all the time is good in my mind...

There's not too much blocking in the game... It's all good... I have to say that big guys that have high blocking scores do sometimes get a lot of blocks, but this has only happened to me against Duncan... Even Garnett didn't get so many blocks. As for me, I haven't been able to block anyone with LeBron yet... And he's 6'8" and I have him playing PG. In 2004 I would prolly be averaging 3-4 blocks a game...

One tip for using guards... The spin move gets you through a lot of tough places and into the open. It works sometimes almost like the pro-hop did last time around, but not quite as frequent... You can get a man open with the spin, which is nice... And dump the ball inside and look for the open man if the defense doubles up...

I love this game... It's the best basketball game out there... It is quite realistic too... Some oddities can be found, but hey it's still a game...
