editing jerseys---PLEASE HELP updated

Postby Donatello on Wed Nov 03, 2004 10:01 am

Um.....forgive me if this is the wrong place to post, or if I'm an idiot...

In live 2004, I used EAGraph editor to change the colors a bit on all my jerseys.....in the players.viv file (i think).....in the render folder...but i can't find the render folder, or players.viv in live 2005...where are they, or what do i do now to open jerseys in EAGraph? thanks

thank you! (Y)

edit: ....but this brings up a new problem-

EAGraph isn't opening the fsh files now. it just shows the little star icon next to them, instead of what it used to show when it worked (can't remember), and no file opens in the window  :( :x  :?:

thanks alot superman, but....um...yeah, yeah....just let me explain what i did in live 2004.

*opened EAGraph

*opened the players.viv file

*clicked on the fsh file for the jersey i wanted to edit

*and it opened in a window in EAGraph, so I could just use the colorizer or what not, then save it, then import it over the original

but NOW with the live 2005 fsh file, it won't even open in EAGraph for me to view...so what gives? any clues? i have upgraded to the "new" version of EAGraph (though I don't notice any differences)

Export jersey file with EAGE, open that fsh file with fshX, export it texture, edit, import back to .fsh file using fshX and then import back to .viv file. (or place in 'sgsm' folder)

um....just treat me like i'm a noob. that doesn't really help me. i'm not sure what to do. i have teamgear.dbf open out of the 'origdb' folder. what do i do now?

the "ID" #'s go all the way down to 350, so i'm assuming my jersey will be 351. but how do i give the jersey i've made that ID #? and what is 'shpname'?

basically- i have no idea what i'm doing. anyone who can help, please do. thanks.

and if someone could post a link to what the team IDs are in nba live 2005, i would appreciate it, because i can't find a list for 2005 yet.
