CPU doesnt play realistic

Sun Nov 07, 2004 8:26 am

I just played a game vs Minnesota Timberwolwes
and what happen, i lost to them with 74-85
and thats okay, but this thing quite annoy me,
Kevin Garnett was invicible, he just had 1/3 fg

I play 5 min quarters.
Well heres the total stats, isnt it totally ridiculus,
i played with the Easports values , i havent edit Garnett
so how could this amazing unrealistic thing happen,
is there anyway of making him start to play
a little more as he do in real life with dominating style and reb king
i have to tweak him, but how?

i never had a problem like that
in fact i just played against the wolves, and even though i won, KG had quite a game

@ilya

I have the same problem. Too many shots by PG, SG, and SF. Not only the good ones. Even the backup point guards are shooting and driving like hell. I lowered the primacy for the mentioned poistions but is has little effect.

Again: It could be a great game, but the cpu isn't running any playset. Just streetball-like isolation and one-on-one. Even worse. When a "Star-player" gets the ball it#s like a black hole. They (McGrady, Carter, Bryant etc.) never ever pass the ball, you can triple team them, no matter.

I really ask myself, if the EA programmers even play their own games. Like NHK 2005, Nba cpu play is repetative and dumb.
