Range and 3 pointers

Sun Nov 07, 2004 3:38 am

I need to know those range affect shooters with good 3 point ratings?
For example if I had a player with 23" range does that mean he can't shoot a 3 no matter what 3 point rating he has? Does a 3 point shooter must always have 25" range?.
Thanks

A 3-pointer is 22'9. Basically 25ft range means they comfortably shoot 3's. 22-23ft range means they aren't as skilled 3-point shooters.

am i the only one who finds the 3 ball a bit hard in 2005? maybe its me and i am not holding and releasing right but even when i am wide open i miss often. useing the celts and i shoot a few each game with pierce and i just cant seem to sink them that good. anyway like i said, it just might be me.

i dont find the 3pt shots to hard.. you just gotta know who to shoot them with...
like for instance/..rafer alston..he bombs them like crazy..and so does cuttino mobley

Sometimes I miss a lot because my timing is off. If you see your guy fall back down as he releases you probably held it too long.

rafter alston just won 3 pt shootout in my dynasty.. cool... :D

if you find your man wide open.... the's gonna knock down the 3.... in my dynasty.. i usually find padget, or jimmy jackson for the open 3... sometimes Lue....

after i made that post i tried to change how i shot the 3 and i did it much better in the last 2 games so i guess it was my fault after all. though i still think pierce got robbed on his 3pt rating.
