How do u call plays in PC version?

I have set my Playcalling button to D-Pad (Right) but when i click on it, it immediately calls a timeout. How do u call plays like in 2004 version, when u'd click on play callin' button, all these Isolation, Post-Up etc. show up. How do u do that in 2005?

You have to hold the playcalling button.

In my keyboard settings, it's not the Playcalling key.
You just push the 1, 2, 3 or 4 buttons (the ones above the q,w,e letters).

It's a great way to call for a pick-n-roll or anything like that.
But NBA Live 2004 was really really great at this issue.
Calling for a Basket Cut was very clear and performed well in Live 2004, I hate the calling in Live 2005, let alone Pick-n-roll.

Can't you just look at the sub-menu when you look at configure controls ?
It's says Playcalling (1,2,3,4)

Yeah you can and it would be nice if I could actually use my D-pad for those play calls.

yah.. actually you can assign 4 set plays for the directional keys in your gamepad since you use the left analog stick for movements.

i don't have an analog stick! 1-2-3-4? what do i do, press the keyboard's 1 2 3 4? didn't work.

i hate playcalling button nba live 2005...

in 2004, i can select play by using playcalling + some button

button is one of my key,..

but. in 2005, i have to use 4 more key..,

already, i used 16 keys but 4 more? no it sucks

i need playcalling key not timeout key...

is it possible to use the keyboard too aside from the controller? i tried setting other keys using the keyboard because my controller lacks keys (it's not analog)

I try to configure and when I click on Quick play #1, I can assign any button except the ones i want.

In the game i hold the playcalling button but the player only calls timeout or a intentional foul, no matter what other button i press.

Does anyone know what's wrong?

thanks man, but it didn't help much...

there's nothing to do on the playbook screen ... i can only choose the plays i want and controller1 or keyboard...

i want to call all four plays in the game but i just can't...
i tried holding playcalling and other buttons but only the pro-hop one called a play... all the others called timeout

I have a Wingman RumblePad Logitech with both D-Pad and control sticks... now somebody expain to me how do i set plays on my controller and call them. I set a playcallin button to D-Pad Down but when i click on it, it calls timeout, I held it and pressed other buttons it calls timeout. Somebody tell me how I can call plays, how i can set it up. Can i do put plays on keyboard while playin' with joystick.
