Am I missing something or is there no way to see contract info in season mode? I was thinking of doing a 29 game season with my Knicks and I figured the first thing I'd like to try is to unload Mohamed and Anderson (sp?) because neither is going to play any meaningful minutes for me barring injury. I can't find their contract info anywhere!
Edit; Ugh, should this go in Dynasty Issues? If so, please move it, thanks!

In season mode it's not necessary to check the contract info, since you will only play one single season. I think this salary/contract stuff do not apply in season mode.
In Dynasty mode you can't see the contract lenght in the trade screen, you should go back and see it in the GM's Desk / Manager Statement (what is a major flaw, IMHO). Salary is actually seen in the trade screen by clicking in "Trade Info" button.

So in season mode you can trade an over-priced, over-the-hill scrub for an upcoming guy on a rookie contract? Crazy! I know it's not as important for a single season, but it's still annoying. <sigh>
I agree about the flaw in Dynasty Mode. It's a real show-stopper for me, because, using the Knicks, you reeeeally need to know contract info if there's any hope of getting out of cap hell!

If the CPU feels the trade is good for it, it will accept, otherwise it won't. It's the same as Dynasty mode, but salary and contract lenghts don't apply in season mode.

I decided that was too easy / unrealistic, so I'm going to do a Dynasty instead. Who knows, maybe I'll play more than one season anyway.
I decided to after Dampier, because I want a real center. I traded Shandon, Nazr and Moochie for Dampier and Dickau, IIRC (or maybe that was after a couple of trades, I'm even sure right now!). On the surface, maybe not the best trade, but those three worthless contracts are now gone. None of those guys was cracking my rotation. It will be a problem when one of my main backcourt guys gets hurt, but I see more wheeling and dealing in my future (Vin Baker is now expendable, as I plan to stick with JYD and Sweetney).
