Mid-court buzzerbeater DID count but it DIDN'T go in

Same as Live 2004...

I made a shot from mid court at the buzzer that clearly didn't go in (the ball hit the net, below the rim, but didn't pass through it), but the referee said it counts (didn't affect the final score... I lost by 26).

I couldn't see the replay (not available at the end of a quarter), but that was my impression: The ball didn't traspass the rim.
