Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Hi guys,
It is a well-known behavior that is driving me crazy and it is happening very frequently.
When you try to make a normal jump shot, the ball is released BEFORE you put your finger off the shot button without my desire, done by Cpu by itself very early than normal. Note that shot control setting is set to USER.
Which tricks do you have to have complete control over my player's shot release?
Cheers.

I've never had an issue when Shot Control is set to User, so that's strange.

It has always been like that for many years on different machine. The player is releasing the shot BEFORE I take my finger off the shot button with firing weird. Setting is set to user as I said.
Very bad thingy that is pissing me off from 2005.
I hope I could find a video sample to demonstrate it much better.
Edit: Just like Atkins's shot at the buzzer at 12:19 on this video:

Strange. Like I said, I've never had that problem with NBA Live 2005 and any controller. Shots have only ever released when I've let go of the button.

Found another video showing my complaint on R. Alston's shot at 13:33 here:

I recognise the early release animation, which is supposed to happen when you release Shoot too quickly. As I said, I can't explain why it's happening automatically, as I've never encountered that problem. I've only ever got that animation when I've been too early with my release.
