if ESPN was really any compitition for live they would not have dropped the price to 20 bucks.
I still disagree. The way I look at it, the $20 price tag and the name "Live" even each other out. That's why the race between ESPN NFL and Madden has been pretty close this year, because now people who are just looking for a football game for 2005 will see the name "Madden" which sells more than the actual game, and the $20 price tag, and more than likely, choose the game that's cheaper.
It's not as if ESPN games this year are really worth only $20. If I were forced to I would have thrown in that extra 30 for ESPN NFL, but it just wasn't necessary. It's just a tactic to expand their fan base, boost sales and make sure that in the following years, less people will fall for what I call, the "EA Sports Eye-Candy."
