Thanks for all the responses guys, its interesting to see how everyone plays live.
I can't wait till it comes out! :D

The intervention thing might tempt me to sim a quarter here and there, especially when time is an issue for me, which it will be in a few months.

In Live 2001 i played all 82 games (unless i accidently simmed a game after just having played one) but in 2004 i play about 70 games, the rest i sim out of frsutration, but in 2004 i'm playing with 2 dynasties

Andrew wrote:I guess it would depend on what kind of challenge you were after. If your playing style doesn't really allow you to come back from 30 points down, you might not want to jump in and finish the game yourself unless you want to do some stat padding.

Depending on how your team has played, you might not trust the simulation engine to give you the win, even with a 10 point advantage, so you might jump in. The choice is yours, giving you a new decision to make and new challenge to face. It was an excellent idea to bring this concept over to the NBA Live series (I believe MVP Baseball was the first game to introduce the feature?).

Actually, I saw it in Shootout 97 .... waaay back in the days. We were able to simulate quarter by quarter and jump in any time.
