Rookies Scouting: add 2-on2 test for passing, free throw, etc

Let's say I'm looking for player in draft who is good pass-first player, and good from the line. one on one test mode does not use these skills. There needs to be a 2-on-2 mode so you can see this, with fouls as well. The team situation also lets you see more of his "off and def awareness" which comes out when the cpu is involved a bit. And what about stamina? Can't see that in one-on-one practice either. I mean new mode will be a big boost, but you can't judge every quality. Also add a clock, to watch for the Clutch primacy rating. Make injuries possible, to check for hardiness. It should be possible to draft an injured player, or have him recover before the next season.

Man Vlade, you're one deep fellow. I hadn't even gave that factor any thought with the new one on one test mode, how can you possibly determine his passing skills?

I'm somebody who especially agrees with your brilliant assessment because I'm big on building a team of basketball players as opposed to specialists and athletes. Despite being a life long Laker fan I hold the Sacramento Kings and the Denver Nuggets in high esteem because of this very reason. I'll easily pass over a flashy dunker for a player with solid fundamentals and good passing skills.

Primacy Rating? I'm a bit worried since EA Canada won't make this adjustable like games' past. Hopefully they've figured out a full proof system that improves the gameplay as a result of it. The clock is a good idea, I see that you're thinking of implemlenting things that would allow the user to see how they do in every aspect of the game as opposed to a limited few...

As far as drafting injured players, I always turn them off. Despite my need for 100% realism, I absolutely detest not playing teams at full strength. Yeah, I know injuries are a part of the game and would make my dynasty more realistic, but I hate facing depleted teams. Other than that I'm 100% sim all the way.......... Great ideas! (Y)

Expanding the player scouting and workouts will no doubt be one of the next steps in the continued development of Dynasty Mode. I assume once the new build is in good, working order EA will focus on expanding what's already there and adding more touches here and there.

The ability to see how a rookie will perform in various game situations in addition to their stats (maybe projected ratings?) and bio data sounds pretty good to me. NBA Live 2005's feature sounds pretty good, expansion on the idea would be awesome. (Y)

Ya thanks guys, especially important is passing. It's almost as important as FG shooting. You might be drafting the next john stockton or J. Kidd, but you'll think, oh this guy will probably never get 20 ppg I guess he's just not that good. But then with passing, you'll see the behind-the-back no-look pass and say must be a 99 passer.
