Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Has anyone noted anything about whether or not there will be a limit to how many created players you can have in Live 2005? I remember in 2003 you could have tons, but not in 2004. This isn't exactly a big deal, but for users that like to keep their console version up to date, it would be nice.

Nothing has been said yet, but I'm guessing there will be a limit. Hopefully for console only users it will be much higher than Live 2004's 25 created players limit.

Yea, i got a PS2 and play live on it, but i never really did have a need to create tons of players, maybe 10 at the most

I guess it's really only an issue if you intend to thoroughly update the rosters for the console version.

i hope that they keep edit mode, cause, it's an important one!!
i hope too than players like paul pierce, tracy mc grady change automatikely their headband, legsband colour when they are traded
cause, a paul pierce with green headband in lakersland or tmac with blue legsband in houston is a bad thing, we can't change in live 2004 ps2
and, they must change it in live 2005
i hop too, that the create player mode change all hair and facialhair style, cause there are too many white men hair and facialhair style!!!
there is maybe 280 black player on 300 NBA player
so the game have to be realistic in create player mode

LOL, so true. For that reason alone, I never wanted Pierce on any of my teams, because I was never Boston or Seattle (green). It was like a waste of one of the league's finest.

It's a little thing, but like duplicate jersey numbers in previous games a small thing that nagged at those of us who are realism freaks. The easiest solution would be to reset a player's bands to the automatic colour as soon as they're traded, waived or signed.

yes, it's a little thing, but it's an important one, i hear some rumor involving pierce and randoplh in a trade between portland and pierce, and i don't want to see paul pierce with a green headband in portland for all the season!!
it's like if pierce keep his green headband in real life in a team who not have green in his logo

this probably dont belong in this thread but reading the last post made me think about it. i would like to see more computer trades. mainly dureing the offseason but i want more. look at all the movement this season. i know when i play i hardly see any trades, basicly teams build through free agency or the draft, almost never trade unless i make the trade myself.

Completely agree. If the computer would actually make trades it would give the user more of a feeling that he is actually in a league with 29 other General Managers. Instead it ends up feeling like you're in a league with 29 other bots, who will only make tiny winy trades each other, sign free agents, and draft rookies. The game would be a lot more fun if you got the sense that certain teams were stocking up and looking to be dangerous. More CPU trades, and bigger CPU trades sounds awesome.
Perhaps there could be a slider, "CPU Trade Agressiveness.
