Thats a video of ESPN 2K5..Looks like they mean business..

I seen the live videos..And it doesn't look at good as that does..I mean hey have a 3D CROWD, ..And all the people have those white stick things and bang them etc..They have also made a better double teaming animation etc..I think i might jump the bandwagon this year!.

imo graphics come in a far second to gameplay. infact features also mean more to me than graphics. graphics are good and all but if the game is boreing then who cares if it looks good.

I dont see anything there gameplay wise that live didnt do last year in live 2004. They are a step behind if diving for balls and double teaming animations is an improvement. They seem to copy live every year now...first with "isomotion"..now 10 man animations.

Their graphics aren't better than live in my opinion. All they have is some..albeit...nicer shadows and lighting. The faces aren't better than live's, the players look blocky and unreal...like a buncha beefed up muscle heads. (dont say nothing)

it looks ok, but the game still doesnt have anything new to it...look at how yao is doing dribbling moves like he is a iverson or something...then they have marbury dunking...the players still look too shiny, and i know it suppose to be so-called sweat, but i dont think the players faces suppose to be shiny 2 mins into the game...live is better

ESPN 2K4 was the last Sega basketball game I was going to buy.

Tom Tolbert has to be one of the most annoying commentators out there. Now they're replacing him with Bill Walton? WOW. I'm impressed.

Plus, those shoe squeaking noises drove me insane.

That looks horrible. Everyone looks like plastic man. The dunks suck. And the iso motion is a crappy rip off of freestyle. How do you go from NBA 2k3 to that. I would usually buy both games as usual but after seeing freaking Ron Artest throw down some crazy two handed dunk and Marbury dunking plus that Yao cross over I really don't see a point. I had such high hopes for both games, but after seeing that I'm leaning more towards Live who has made improvements since 2003. The 2K series is going in the wrong direction.

i agree tolbert is easily one of the most annoying announcers around. i actually like walton more than him but he is annoying too. now imo the most annoying guy in pro bball is that smith guy from espn. i cant think of his first name right now but he is clearly the most annoying guy ever.

thats the guy, steven a smith. i hate this guy so damn much. its bad enough he is constantly wrong but he tops it off by acting like he knows more than anyone about basketball. its not that he thinks he is in the same league as dr jack and david aldridge(to name 2 of a short list) he actually thinks he knows more than them.

now the question is, what does this have to do with nba live? i guess nothing, just needed to get that off my chest lol.

He was on Hot 97' FM...which is a popular nYc rap/hip-hop radio Station. On two consecutive fridays he came on as a guest jockey: arguing the hell out of people...my mother kept asking me to change the radio station. :)

He writes for the Philadelphia Inquierer, and he does know a lot about basketball. He's a very good writer. The problem, going on ESPN and "The Best Damn Sports Show, Period" he thinks he has to yell and scream and be outragous like all the other idiots.

Everyone at ESPN annoys the hell out of me. Stuart Scott thinks he's the best anchorman ever, Steven A. talks too much, Tolbert and Walton are best when they don't say anything, and Greg Anthony is the only one that's tolerable... Hey! what happened to Tim Hardaway? I remember he joined Indiana in the playoffs a couple years ago... did ESPN not re-hire him after that?

BRING BACK NBA ON NBC!!! I miss the theme music... That was the best theme music ever...

acording to bill walton everyone in the nba with a few exceptions(maybe 5 or 6 people) are one of the greatest players ever at thier position. thats why he annoys me.

stuart scott annoys me cause he thinks he has to constantly talk in ebonics to be popular.

steven a smith bugs me with his know it all atitude even though i have personally seen him eat crow constantly.

tolbert is just an idiot end of story.

if you ask me the TNT guys are the best. those 3 make a great combo imo and usually when they bring a 4th in it only adds to the fun.
