I tought about this for NBA 2005: Player moods should be introduced from game to game - this means if the player feels bad his rating would fall. Therefore, the ratings set for the player should be the maximum possible for a game. For example, Kobe Bryant has FG 95, 3PT 86, DUNK 98 etc. These should actually be the maximum ratings if the player feels excellent. Otherwise, they should drop like if he feels tired or has a flue his ratings should drop from FG 95 to 85, 3PT from 86 to 75 etc. Also, Variable Ratings should be used in the game as a player gets fatigued. So, next to the fatigue meter in the substitution screen the rating fall should be show (like FG 95(87), 3PT 86 (80), DUNK 98 (83)). The number in paranteses shows the current rating due to fatigue. If you substitute the player and he rests, the ratings should go back up but not to the maximum (like for FG 95 back up to 94 or 93). As another ideea, the Olympic Team should be included. EA Sports needs to add some international teams for playing at the Olympics. The players from the NBA participating at the Olympics should be chosen by their statistics throughout the season.
Finally, an entertainment factor should be added. Like if Vince Carter dunks 10 times in a game, more people come to the court to see the game and entertain therefore paying more money to tickets and helping the team funds and raising their morale.
Tell me what you think of my ideeas...?
