I heard that Charles Barkley, and Kareem Abdul-Jabber will be in the game, and maybe Jerry West.

Hopefully they wont replace jordan. I've yet to play a basketball game that featured both jabbar and jordan by default.

I saw the feature on SportsCenter about that, and what he was opposed to was the fact that you could "purchase" women with your winnings and you'd get to see close up pictures of them anytime you wanted. He couldn't be turned off by the street thing, because he was in NBA Street Vol. 2.

Whatever, Jerry. Do you know how much money he makes the Grizzlies pay him?

It is not always that straight forward... I'd be pleased, but for example Jordan the name already is a Brand and I don't think Michael is the only person behind it. He's got his posse that handles most of these things...

There is a lot of the law stuff that we will never understand...

yea jordan and west will get a bunch of people asking them how could they allow themselves to be in a game that exploits women and so forth. i think they were avioding that controversy and im sure it wont hurt them money wise or popularity neither for them or against them

You know what they should do: keep the legends players they have already had in NBA Lives of the past and get all of the NBA Top 50 Players in there. There would be no flaws then- they already have most of them already there, they just need a few more a la Jabbar, West, Ewing..etc. etc.

I don't think that adding all the players from the past is going help EA at all... Since they cannot get them all, people will always be unhappy about the feature. And thus making them unhappy about the game in the process.

They should just leave them out... Or get them all, but leaving them out seems like a more feasible task from where I'm sitting.

I don't miss the old guys too much...

For the purpose of old season roster patches and other special rosters, I'd prefer that they leave the Legends in the game. Adding a few more Legends would be great, though obviously I'd rather see the focus placed on gameplay and Dynasty Mode before extras such as Legends.

EA has the money...they should first improve gameplay...then go after all the Legends players. After all, they are the #1 Sports Video Game Company...(no promotion intended, just a fact).

I'd rather see current players in the game rather than the legends. If they are gonna put legends in then let them in. Respect what the legends want if tehy dont want to be put in the game respect that fact.

I too, have to agree that they should focus on the things needed most like as Andrew said- the dyansty features and gameplay itself.
However, if they were going to improve the legends, add a few more, I'd suggest that they add some of the lesser known, as well as the well known, so it makes an even legends roster- but, they should use all 15 roster spots, instead of 12 or 10, like in the 50's etc.
An interesting addition to the legends would be that of more realistic faces, as in, for Magic Johnson in the 80's, he'd have the average face he had during the 80's- including accessoires, but that's just an example. And hell, while we're at it, make the player wear a real- All Star jersey from that decade, not some made up shit, or maybe have the individual jeseys, from the team they played on. It's all a big deal maybe, but before we focus on the little things, such as legends (sure it adds an interesting feature), we need to focus on the big improvments that they need to make.

Macca

P.S:: It's a really good feature and it gives those people who buy Live for the first time, something else that helps them learn about the game- history etc.
