...EA released Live like they are doing it..with out an indepth dynasty mode

And released a seperate game...NBA GM 05 or somethin like that which is just managing ur team in a dynasty- I'm not sure about how Soccer manager games work...do they have a game engine whgere u can play or do u watch ur team?

Which one would u prefer?

I would prefer both. I would get frustrated with a simulation-only game, I prefer to have the choice to be involved in the action (the simulation intervention idea sounds pretty cool). Likewise, I would prefer to have some management duties as well.

They could always do wat fifa did with Soccer GM...the files the 2 games use can be transferred so u can build a team with the GM game then transfer that file into FIFA and play out the games...they could do this with Live!

Manager games tend to be more realistic, and offer a wide range of manager tasks and responsibilities. Some people prefer management games to sports sims. The ability to port saves between the two games would be pretty cool, though I don't think I'd buy both games if they produced two.

Without a shadow of a doubt the greatest series of games ever is the Championship Manager (now Football Manager) series. I reckon 90% of you would think this would be boring but you haven't seen a dynasty mode until you play that. This is probably the reason I have never been happy with a dynasty mode and probably never will be. Oh well I guess those sort of games should be left to the experts.
