NBA LIVE 2005 NO JOYPAD CONTROLLER

I HAVE A JOYSTICK OR JOYPAD CONTROLLER BUT IT SEEMS NOT WORK ... but i play it nba live 07 and it works properly ... why??

Difficult to say without knowing anything about the type of controller you're using or any of your system specs but the most likely causes would be incorrect configuration or the controller isn't supported by NBA Live 2005. Older software does not always work well or recognise newer peripherals.
