Create a Player/Create a Team in 05

Will Live 2005 for the pc incorporate unlimited "Create a Team" and "Create a Player" options from earlier versions of the Live series? Thanks.

na they wouldnt do that, and the custo mart would probally be a problem too, and there wil lprobalyl only be a 4 C-A-T limit untill a patch comes out

a limit of 4 Custom Teams (C-A-T= Create A Team) the 4 custom team limit was in 2004 2, but they released a patch like 2 months ago (for the PC Version)

Thx, Genocide; I figured out the acronym minutes after I sent that last message . . . intended to send another email, telling you to disregard to save you the trouble.

I didn't know that Live'd reintroduced the C-A-T option at all -- if I remember correctly, there was no "create-a-team" option in Live 03, and users could create only a limited number of players.

Hopefully they expand the option further for Live 05. "Evolve" the game back to the Live 2000 version.

I'll keep an eye out for a patch though, post 05's appearance. Big ups.

if you have the PC Version you can create custom teams (by some VERY easy .dbf editing)

Create-a-Team hasn't been confirmed anywhere yet, so for now I'm guessing it's not in the game. I would certainly like to see the return of custom teams (without so much DBF editing), but we shouldn't get our hopes up until we receive more information.

I agree, as I've only experienced limited success reconfiguring gameplay/mode options via .dbf editing software. Changing one feature seems to impact other elements of past games in detrimental fashion.

once you do it liek twice, it becomes second nature (if your using players and are that are already i nthe game)

Oh, it's no trouble to add a custom team, I have no problems editing dbf files. But, like adding headbands to non-created players, doing so through the game would be quicker. :wink:

So would you recommend using a downloaded patch featuring expanded "create-a team" options or editing Live with .dbf software?

The patch doesn't add an expanded create-a-team feature. It corrects a bug that occurred when attemping to create more than five teams through DBF editing. There is no patch that actually adds a create-a-team feature, or any additional feature to the game.

It's expected to be released in North America sometime in October, there's no concrete date yet. As a community, we'll be tracking it though. :wink:
