Dynasty Error

During the off-season in dynasty mode, it crashes everytime the trade players period starts. Both the trade menu and simulating it will result in a game crash with an error message that i understood it has something to do with a 'TEAMS' file. What would be wrong with my game and is there anything to do about it?

Unfortunately such database issues aren't uncommon in NBA Live 2005's Dynasty Mode but usually you can work around them. There are a few things you can try, but be sure to make a backup of your Dynasty first, just in case.

• If you're using a roster update, re-load it before loading your Dynasty save.
  
  
• If that doesn't work, you can also trying copying the teams.dbf file from the roster save folder to your Dynasty save folder.
  
  
• If you started your Dynasty with the default roster, copy the teams.dbf file from the originaldb folder to your Dynasty save folder instead.
  
  
• Delete the contents of the workingdb and currentdb folders.

Hopefully, one of these solutions will allow you to progress to the next season.

Hello everyone! I have a problem playing on dynasty mode. I took a roster uploaded in the forum and then modified it with dbf editor. I load this roster and begin the dynasty mode. I play the first season 04-05. When the schedule comes to January 1, the game crashes. I tried with the nlsc1011 roster and everything works fine. But my modified roster is a result of many working hours, so i want to use this one. I tried the above options Andrew suggested, (if i did it right) nothing changes. Any ideas?

Kind of difficult to say without knowing what changes you made. If you've corrupted the database then there's not a lot you can do.

Just changing the ratings in the players.dbf file. Anyway thanx!
