Classic Teams in Dynasty Mode Help..

Hi everyone,
I downloaded and installed the latest roster update for NBA Live 2005 and I wanted to play with some of the classic teams the patch provides (92, 96 bulls etc) in a dynasty mode agaisnt the current rosters.
I have tried opening the teams.dbf file and changing the teamcode to 0
for the 92 bulls and then changing the current bulls team to teamcode 11. When i went into dynasty mode the 92 team was available but there were no games for it ??
Im sure someone will know how to do this effortlessly. I a bit of a newbie lol
