Announcement from the main site:

A new version of the current roster update (v1.17) is now available, and as always you can find it here. Please remember that corrections and suggestions are most welcome, especially jersey numbers as there will definitely be some errors throughout the offseason with all the player movement and new numbers yet to be confirmed.

Key features of v1.17:
- 2005 Offseason Rosters (August 27th, 2005)
- Player ratings updated

As always, please base feedback on the latest version. Also make sure you're reporting problems with an unedited version of the roster; if you install any other add-ons that cause problems, I can't offer support for them.

I've looked through the update . . . it doesn't add cyberfaces for the rookies, does it? If it doesn't, not a problem, just wondering .

Not in this update, but lpasso's latest rookie cyberface pack has an installation that's compatible with the roster.

derek anderson dunk raitig is 60 ? lol he has posterized every freaking 7 footer in NBA . he is defintly better dnuker then tony allen and his raiting is around 90. he got mad ups and he can finsh hard. he has a 60 inch vertical .

A 60 inch vertical? Somehow, I don't think so. I don't agree with that suggestion, I will not be changing Derek Anderson's dunk rating to 90.

I like the new roster alot, but I can't be arsed to edit in all the rooks again so I'll keep on using 1.16

Andrew,is there a way I can put your roster patch into my ongoing dynasty? I tried copying it to my save file,and I load the dynasty,no problem,but when I go to schedule and start simulating to my next game,it crashes,any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Second, I have couple of corrections to point on I noticed quickly.
You don't have Matt Wals and Antonio Meeking created at all. Derek Anderson's number is 8. I'll post more if I find.

Heat also signed Matt Walsh to a contract. he should be on their roster.

Dude, these videos are 5+ years old, Derek Anderson is not nearly as athletic anymore! All those injuries have taken a toll. You could as well search for some Jerry Stackhouse videos from the late 90's an argue that he needs a dunk rating of 95, or you could point to how well Penny Hardaway played when he was in Orlando and say he needs an overall rating of 87. Alright, that's a slight exaggeration , but I really believe Anderson's current rating is just fine.

If you need further confirmation of the fact that Derek Anderson is notwhere near the dunker he was a couple of years ago, take a look at this list:

Derek Anderson is placed 254th as he had a grand total of 4 (four!) dunks in 47 games last season. So a dunk rating of 60 might even be too high for him.

Hey Andrew, great job! Excellent as always . Just one thing I thought I'd point out, the Raptors roster is a bit off, Pape Sow and Loren Woods should replace Milt Palacio and Roko Ukic. The Raps roster is now locked at 15 players with guarenteed contracts, Sow and Woods included, Palacio and Ukic not. when lucas tischer come to be confirmed in suns, there is a place in the roster to him ? cause i see that burke isnt in the rosters !!! =]

something i noticed is that Aaron McKees number is 2 not 8
there arent 2 number 8s on Lakers

Sorry, but I really can't give a specific answer to that. As I said before, it'll be closer to the start of the new season (if I haven't handed the rosters over to someone else by then), so whatever version that turns out to be. At the current rate, it'll probably be around the 1.2 release but I can't say for sure about that.

No, not without causing a crash or overwriting season data.

I'm not convinced. His rating remains what it is. Sorry, that's my final answer.

I have tested v1.17 thoroughly and it's never crashed for me. Try re-installing the game or if you've installed other patches in conjunction with the roster, trying removing those.

You don't have Matt Wals and Antonio Meeking created at all.

Neither appear on NBA.com or ESPN.com's transactions, which is why I've missed them. Thanks for the correction.

Yes, he'll be added. And Pat Burke is in the rosters. He was one of the last players I added, he's on the Suns' roster.

Thanks, but already reported. As I said, I anticipate a lot of errors in jersey numbers throughout the season since most sources are slow in updating listings of jersey numbers with correct information.

Ok, two more suggestions. I don't know is it just me but, Aaron McKie is in Atlanta Hawks. And something about Milicic. His rating is still 37, which is lowest in the league I think. Somehow, I think that's wrong .

Aaron McKie is definitely not in Atlanta, he's on the Lakers as he's meant to be. I guess I can review Darko's ratings (I'm sure there is someone rated lower overall in the rosters, probably Bruno Sundov) though he's still very much a project.

will the rookies have correct cyberfaces and potriats and if not are there any patches that support your rosters?
