randomly slow/frameskips/chopiness...PLEASE HELP

i have a dell w/2.8 GHz pentium 4...32MB NVIDIA GeForceFX...24x DVDROM...windows xp...i installed the ea patch...the game becomes choppy/slow/skips frames randomly while im playing the game...ive messed around with the detail settings and everything but still it occurs randomly while im playing...if anyone knows how to prevent this please help...im really frustrated...thanks

that 32 mb video of yours need a changin mr.walacex2....the game recommends a 128 mb vid but most 64 mb does fine......but 32? i dont think so
