Saving stats doesn't save quarter by quarter?

Trying to save the stats using the button in game, but it doesn't seem to save stats for any quarter, only when you can chose "current game" at the end or such, it's annoying because I can't save my stats for my dynasty... does everyone have this problem and do they just write everything down by hand now?
