Windows Explorer keeps crashing...

Mon Mar 07, 2005 3:17 pm

I know how to change the music in the game, but for some reason when I just tried to do the same thing--there is an error and windows explorer shuts down?

Has this happened to anyone. I'm using Windows XP too? Hmm really weird. :?

Thanks for any advice. I also noticed my cpu has been updating a lot, but it's not service pack 2 stuff? and I already have service pack 2 installed?

if it happens all the time there's prolly a memory leak in the software you use to change the music. you can try to get all the latest updates from windowsupdate.com, maybe that helps.

So it might be the ditty importer?

could be, it might give conflicts with other software you have installed.

there is a conflict? What can I do? :|

Besides Ditty Importer, Is there any other tool that will convert my mp3's to asf files?

Meaningless bump:

but this is the error I've been getting?

C:\DOCUMENTS~1\myname\LOCALS~1\TEMP\C208_appcompat.txt

What does this mean? It defiently has something to do with the ditty importer.

make sure that SP2 Pack didnt install drwtsn32 on your comp, that was a failed AV attempt by MS, other than that, theres always sys restore

thats prolly the error log, and judging by the name it's about a "app-lication comp-atability", you might wanna read the txt file and see if it gives you any clues on what makes what crash.
