PBP - play by play names for created players??

excuse me if asked before, i know we cant edit PBP..
but can we change the name/file accociated with the created players? are the first names and last names seperate?
can someone help me out.. i love adding to the game, .. but in season 2 of my dynasty i would like to have the rookies on my team to have at least a lastname in the play by play and rink speach.

You need a PBP viewer along with an editor!!
Also an editor that alllows you to cut & paste (GOLDWAVE is pretty good)
& a converter so you can convert the files...
I guy named "Suchy" has done this for the "NHL" series & it's awesome...Do a search & see what you can find...I swear I have seen this around for the "NBA" series as well...but I could be wrong!!

I remember that utility. It worked a little with NBA Live 2003, but was incompatible with NBA Live 2004.

isn't there a nickname database somewhere?
i recall i saw one where some of the more famous nicks were stored. i guess you can just pick from those and add it to your player's nick using dbf editor. that's the closest we could get, i think.

Nickname.dbf is a text-only database though.

If there was an editor available you could cut nicknames from 2003 & install them into 2005...problem there though, because there may be only one name mapped to specific characters, chances are you would hear nicknames called all the time!! However, most likely there would be at least 2 PBP names mapped to each character: normal & intense...so you could always replace the "intense" with the nickname...Hmmm...too bad there isn't an editor available...if someone knew how to program using code you could always create one!!
