Computer IQ=0

hav u noticed the computer actually makes mistakes this year? it seemed like last year the comp never turned it over except for steals and occasional bad passes... this year the AI are idiots!

maybe 5 times a game a guy catches the ball while running, and continus to run out of bounds lol, its kinda funny... or they get the ball and then dive for it str8 into the stands

i have to agree with you there. It looks so stupid when the computer runs out of bounds.

Yes, I've noticed the CPU make a few errors. Personally I like it, just like the ability to throw a bad pass if your teammate is fighting off a screen and moves the wrong way or is too slow to jump out and receive the pass. It can be frustrating, but it adds a touch more realism.

I personally don't notice it, but I do think that the mistakes the computer makes like the things mentioned are all pretty realistic.

my brother and i have had this weird thing where the computer, after stealing the ball, just stands there and commits an 8 sec violation. but this only happens on full court press defense.

i guess its good, the comp is "human" this year... but sometimes its ridiculous, like running out of bounds with 10 seconds left in the game and down by 2

ALSO... wat STILL hasnt been fixed and its something i complained about since 2004...... wen the comp is down by 2 and theres 5 seconds left... they pass it in to their pg and he WALKS THE BALL UPCOURT... and then settles for the halfcourt shot

i wish the comp had the intelligence to take a timeout... and try to "set up a play"... or take a good shot to try to win... that would be a nice addition to live 06

and sometimes when they are down by one, they throw up 3 after 3, or wait until the shot clock is at like 1 before shooting

This is one aspect of the game that I actually like. The computer AI will in fact make bad passes out of bounds, step on the baseline when driving to the hoop, etc. If they can get little things like this right why not the other little things? This game drives me crazy!!

I don't mind the mistakes the CPU makes, which I actually like, but the only "mistake" that I can't stand to see the CPU make is when a center catches a lob pass and has to jump all the way out of bounds to catch it when he could easily jump straight up, catch it, and come back down. No need to dramatize catching the ball where you'll end up looking like an idiot.
