v1.01 released...

Sun Nov 14, 2004 8:55 pm

As promised, v1.01 of the current roster update is now available and can be downloaded here.

New in v1.01:
- 2004/2005 Rosters updated through November 13th, 2004
- Ratings updated for better performance
- Positions updated for better substitution patterns

Lineups are current (although in the case of a couple of starters who will miss a game or two but will not be placed on the IR, they remain in the starting lineup for now), there shouldn't be any mistakes with the starting lineups, I've tried to use every suggestion regarding the ratings and I've also fixed Jared Reiner's appearance. You will also find opening night rosters and uninjured rosters included with the patch.

Most of you know the drill when it comes to feedback but for those who are new, it is very welcome so keep it coming. Just base the feedback on the latest version of the roster to ensure you're notifying me about issues that haven't already been resolved. ;)

one word COOL~~!!^_^|||

As Usual Andrew uve released the best roster around. :D

2 things:-
*Ive noticed that uve started Dalembert in 1.01 while Philadelphia's starting lineup actuallly features Marc Jackson at centre.

*New Yorks rookie Ariza still has to be updated. His speed and quickness i feel should be pushed up to a minimum of 70 each. His FTs and insidesc should also be slightly pumped up.

Just a couple of suggestions...

A fine Job on the roster otherwise :D

thank you so much andrew~!!

Great Job Andrew!!
Here's some things you could have a look at:

RATINGS
Luol Deng - is the rookie with the best offensive game so far, 18.5ppg
Chris Wilcox - is playing at the same level as Elton Brand but his OR is only 57
Trenton Hassell - only started 74 games last season because of his defense and Hoiberg has a higher Def Awareness than him
Zaza Pachulia - improved a lot in this preseason
Alex Garcia - he used to play for my city's team, so i can tell you that despite being too short for his position, he makes it up with lots of hard work on defense. He also does some pretty strong dunks and shoots a little better from 3pt range. He is left handed.
Keith McLeod - so far this season he is deserving an overall rating higher than 40.
Trevor Ariza - is having a strong start for the knicks

INFO
Mario Kasun - Drafted 2002 41 LAC
Matt Bonner - Drafted 2003 45 Chi
Tommy Smith - Drafted 2003 53 Chi

Royal Ivey - skin color 4
Donta Smith - skin color 3
Chris Duhon - skin color 3
Sasha Vujacic - skin color 1

The Grizzlies home team accesory color should be yellow instead of white

Nice patch,Andrew! Too bad that there's still a bit lag when I turn the detail to mid. I need a new comp for NFS UG,NBA Live,CS S I guess.
Back to the topic, can u please tell us a Realistic Sliders like last year's nba live? The default sliders is terrible. I can't play with that...

Mon Nov 15, 2004 6:52 am

Great ! (Y)
I've a little suggestion (not for ratings) :
You should take Mikki's Teamgear DBF Fix. So You won't have to change all colors by yourself. Mikki's is very accurate. :)
And, fix Kobe's arm band (Y).
Well, I haven't tested the roster yet but I'll do it now and tell you some suggestions. :)

hey andrew, i dloaded your roster and i noticed that it slows my game down when i play.. any idea why that would be happening? Alwaysm towards the end of first quarter it slows tghe game down and stays choppy the rest of the way.. i used other peoples rosters and game works fine, but whem i use yours this happens, i even tried to copy your rosters into original folder, and it still slows.. any idea why?

thanks!

Wow...U got the same problem too? I thought I am the only guy experiencing this problem. I thought it's because my RAM is saturated or something. I guess we just found out a new bug.

You're right, my mistake. Sorry about that.

I'm not sure why you're experiencing the lag when using the roster, I haven't made any changes that would cause such problems. I don't know what to fix as everything seems to be in order. Is anyone else having the problem? Did you notice the problem with v1.00?

Tue Nov 16, 2004 1:23 am

I think its an NBA live problem, might have more to do with your pc than nba live actually, it has happened to me like...3 times? and i wasnt using Andrew's, the following works for me, whenever it happens i just pause, alt tab out and back in, works fine afterwards.

Btw Andrew, havent messed with the roster much yet but, Deshawn Stevenson is number 9 for the Magic.

him wearing 1 is a no no :P

Thanks Andrew

thanks for da update

B.Cook, Lakers has the #43, not #7.
S.Vujacic's (LA Lakers PG) real name is Aleksander. "Sasha" is the nickname.

Tue Nov 16, 2004 11:26 am

Thanks for the corrections. :) About Vujacic - I know his real name is Aleksander, but at nba.com he's billed as Sasha Vujacic (similar to how Anfernee Hardaway is Penny Hardaway in the game), which is why I'm using his nickname as his first name.

Tue Nov 16, 2004 1:58 pm

In uninjured file these players should in the starting lineup:BKnight,Jkapono,LHarris,AHouston,CArroyo

With the server move, the roster update can now be downloaded here, though it is still mirrored at .

First of all, thanks Andrew a lot for the patch
Second, Loren Woods from the Raptors is #3 not 1. That's all
Thanks again

just joined the forum today but i've been a follower eversince, anyway i love your roster patch and thanks a lot. But i think H.Eisley's number shouldn't be 12 because it's John Stockton's. i searched in nba.com but it's also 12. :?:
