I don't know why.. but for some reason my computer keeps saying I have only got 128MB RAM when I have always had 256MB RAM. You need 256 to run the game which I have butfor some reason the system says I have 128.. How do I correct this?? The memory stick says 256MB RAM.
Also tried puting in an extra 128MB RAM for additional and no go.. Does anyone know how to utilise your memory properly.. Coz I've tried everything and to no avail

What operating system are you running? What motherboard? What kind of ram? It is possible the ram is defective and not showing up correctly. Also check and be sure in the bios that there are no setting to tell it not to recognize anymore than 128MB. I should be able to gather something using the information I asked for.

if you use windows xp, that will knock your ram down to 128 if you have 256

not really . i'm using win xp @ 256MB DDR and no such jump up
i'm afraid you have to check your motherboard-install latest intel or via drivers.

yes, really. windows xp uses that much ram to run, this is a well-known fact.
i was assuming he meant the computer says he has 128 AVAILABLE. If it's saying you only have 128 total, then you have a problem.

I believe he meant that the computer only recognizes 128MB installed and not that 128MB are free. Like I said before just try and run a memory diagnostic tool on your computer and be sure that the RAM is good. From there you can check your bios, Windows and then your motherboard.

your ram might be infected....maybe???
i think there is a program that can test your ram for you but I cannot remember the program name right now
