3pt shotsmade/attempted a little... inflated?

Mon Nov 01, 2004 8:10 am

Don't know if any of you guys had noticed this as well, but I've been seeing some absolutely ridiculous stats piled up (by the computer only) as fas as 3pt shooting is concerned. I'm in the second year of my dynasty with the knicks, and just before the all star break, the celtics brent barry leads the nba in makes (165) and attempts (437). That he is leading the league in this category doesnt really bother me, but making 200 3's in a YEAR is a major accomplishment. It's not even all star weekend yet!! all of the other stats are spot on (PPG, FG Att/Makes, Assists, blocks, etc), what is the reason for such an outrageous number?

Do the sliders control the shooting percentages of simulated games? right now I'm using the newest iteration of Fgreps superstar 12 minute sliders... maybe I should tweak them a bit?

thnx in advance,
Maceo

edit-
Also has anyone noticed that in simmed games, your either a 20 point winner or a 25 point blowout victim? I've been on both ends of 40 point disasters. They seem to be happening all the time. 127-96, 115-98... scores like that. only very rarely do I see a game with realistic final scores (low hundreds - high to low 90's).

also pay attention to game when simmed in intervention mode, youll see both you and the cpu score as high as 45 points to as low as 8 or 10... just seems to be happening a little too regularly for me.
