Hi guys,

if you like to add the newest Jordan sneaker to your game, you need EA Graph to install the patch.

Just replace the desired fsh-file in the xshoes.viv (located in the sgsm/common folder) -> sh001.fsh to sh173.fsh. Don't forget to rename the file!!!

And replace the according file in the sgsm/props folder. Don't forget to rename the file!!!

Here is my first Live 2005 patch:

PS: Excuse the lack of quality bc of the crappy pics I had.

Extract the .fsh file and open it using FshX (get it @ http://www.nbalive.org)

Both can be done. If you rename it f.e. to sh076.fsh Melo's shoes will be replaced. If you rename it to sh174.fsh, you have a new pair of kicks. But then you will have to do some dbf editing.

So when you add these shoes as "sh174", then you should change the players "ORIGHSHOE" or/and "ORIGASHOE" to 174?

Because I tried that and it didnt work

No, that won't work. I searched for Kobe's shoes in the dbf and they are listed as 075 and 076. When I opened the sh076.fsh Melo's kicks appeared. There must be some kind of code. I have no clue. Sorry.

If there is custom art this year and it's supposedly already activated, I wish someone can figure out how to put individual shoes on players.

It is possible to add new shoes to a player without customart AND without overwriting any previous shoes, the process is just a little more complicated this year than in 2004, but it's doable. I did it with Guanaco's T-Mac 4 shoes (added them to T-Mac, as his home and away shoe).

I'll post a complete tutorial about it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, but if some of ya'll can't wait, I can tell it involves editing at least the "shoeacc.dbf", possibly also the "accessories.dbf" if you want the kicks to appear when you create a new player, too.

And to give the player the shoes, you have to find him in the "appearances.dbf" and change his HOMESHOE and/or AWAYSHOE to the ID of the new shoe... A li'l complicated, but as I said before; I'll do a tutorial about it... :)
