Help on dynasty mode of nba live... is there anyway i can edit all the player so that they retire after 4-6 years including the upcoming rookies in dynasty mode. im trying to edit their birthdate using dbcommander bat the game crashes when i simulate... help pls pls pls

The only way to get players to retire "organically" (ie without placing them in Team 32, the Retired Pool) is to do what you're doing: editing the birthdate. I'm not sure why it's crashing though, I'd need more information. Do you get an error message when the game crashes?

yup i get an error messages but i comes out different everytime... last message i can remember is about teams etc.. it crashes when i try to simulate a game or in the sign free agents in the off season

yup its a codebase error... what im trying is to force retire players after 4 years of experience by changing their birthdate...

A Codebase Error indicates that the database is either corrupt or there's an invalid value in the database. Does the Codebase Error reference either the workingdb or currentdb folder?

i have not checked yet... i think its on the workingdb folder... is it possible if i would change the age of all the current players to 35 so that they will retire in the offseason and they will be replaced by generated rookies... and also is there anyway i can edit the generated rookies so they will retire after 4-5 years

If you want the best chance of players retiring after the season, you should probably set their age to something more like 45.

As for the generated players, it's the same procedure; editing the date of birth. It's harder to set players up to retire in four or five years as opposed to the following year but once players hit the age of 32 in NBA Live they stop developing and may even retire, though most are more likely to do so in their mid 30s. With that in mind, anyone you want to retire in 4-5 years should probably be edited to be around 30-32 years old.

Another dynasty question: Can anybody edit the salary cap???
Because now i edit the salaries and i think the 44.34 million $ is not enough
