Any guide to convert 07 patch to nba live 2005?

I hope someone can help me. Do you know if there is a guide to convert the new NLSC of the 07 live to NBA live 2005? Wich programs i need?

There's no guide as yet but basically, all you should copy across is players.dbf, appearance.dbf and nicknames.dbf. You'll then need to edit players.dbf and remove the fields that NBA Live 2005 doesn't use and add a couple of fields that were in the NBA Live 2005 databases but don't appear in the NBA Live 07's databases.

It isn't too difficult but perhaps a little confusing if you don't have much experience with DBF editing. Once I'm done with the 06 conversion I'll take a look at 2005.

They're not used. I'm only saying that if you won't remove them, it won't cause any damage to the file and it will work fine if only the fields that were in 2005 but aren't in 07 are added to the file.

I also haven't looked into Live 2005 files for some time, but when I was converting my 08 roster files to 06 I only added missing fields from Live 06 without deleting fields with hot spots, go-to moves and other not used in 06 and the file is working totally fine. So I think that if you won't delete fields from 07 which are not used in 2005, the file will still work fine, specially if they're located at the end of the file, maximum to right side.

Fair enough. I deleted them in the 07 to 06 conversion just for the sake of uniformity with the original NBA Live 06 players.dbf file but I'll keep that in mind.

Well, I've already outlined it. It's just a matter of seeing which columns are in NBA Live 2005's players.dbf file that don't appear in NBA Live 07's players.dbf file and adding them with Microsoft Excel. It's not too difficult but if you've never done any work with the databases before it might be a bit confronting.

I have worked with the 07 roster and i´ve modified appareance.dbf, player.dbf and nicknames.dbf, i´ve tried to prove my roster and not woork. I show you the errors that appeared:

Make sure you're using the default NBA Live 2005 teams.dbf file.

Thank you very much, the roster works correctly, now i´m going to prepare the sgsm, do you now if i have to keep the default coach and uniforms fields?

You should be able to use the coaches.dbf file from NBA Live 07 but I'd recommend using the default teamgear.dbf file and editing is as necessary.

i´m working with my sgsm and i don´t know wich archive i have to remove to get the default refree, becuase i´m using the euroleague patch. Anybody can help me?

Look for any files named refere1, refere2 or refere3 in your sgsm folder and delete them if you do.

Probably jerseys or court cause the crash. Does it crash when you play home game with Atlanta or away or both? And which jerseys do you use when trying to play the game with the Hawks?
