Suggestion needed

I´m thinking of starting a new dynasty, I have few questions what to do

1) Which roster should I use original or the latest(also I´m thinking doing fantasy draft, should I do it)
2) Which team should I choose(Thinking of getting Philly coz favourite team, but any suggestions are welcome)
3) Any suggestions how to make dynasty more interesting to me?

1. There are perks to each of them. Original rosters are cool, but it isn't bad to have the latest rosters in either. As for fantasy draft or not, I have done both and they are both enjoyable. Recently, though, I;ve focused on trying to revamp the original Knicks dynasty to make it competitive AND cap-friendly...I've enjoyed that more than the fantasy draft.

2. If you are doing an original team and not a fantasy draft, you can go a few ways...pick a fun team, pick a team with a player you like, pick a team you enjoy in the real NBA, pick a struggling team you want to revamp, etc. I chose the Knicks because I am a Knicks fan and because they are so screwed up and I wanted to fix them. Here are a few thoughts...Charlotte (one or two good studs and a lot of cap room and expiring contracts to play with), Knicks (a mess that you can fix up), Chicago (Hinrich, Chandler and Curry are a nice threesome to play with), Cleveland (LeBron...'nuff said), Dallas (pretty stacked), Memphis (Gasol, Miller and J-Will, along with Battier), and Phoenix (as much fun as in real life).

3. Try making a competitive team while having a cap-friendly team. It requires a lot of work and trading, as well as requiring you to put together complimentary players who work well as a team.

Also, if would do fantasy draft, who should I get

Depends on your focus...(1) top players regardless of the cap or (2) the best, but inexpensive players, you can get.

For top players regardless of the cap, Kobe is one o fmy favorites...he does it all. Any of the other 90+ ranked players work too (Shaq, Garnett, Duncan, McGrady). In big men, Ming, Brand, Gasol, Okafor and Howard are fun to use. For smaller players, Pierce, Baron Davis, Carter, Ray Allen, Finely, Marion and LeBron are also fun.

But for me, I like to draft a quality team that is cap friendly. That entails small price tags and a preference for longer contracts. At PG, I like to target Wade, Hinrich, Alston, Jaric, Billups ( a bit pricier), Jason Williams (also a bit pricier), Ridnour, and Barbosa. For a real inexpensive player with a multi-year deal, who can hot the 3, pass, drive to the hoop and be speedy, barbosa is a real nice play. For 1 year PG contracts, Tinsley, Pargo, House and Blake all play well in Live '05.

At SG, target LeBron, Redd, Josh Howard, Battier and Childress. Slightly more expensive is Crawford, Mike Miller, Mo Pete and Stephen Jackson.

At SF, target Anthony, Caron Butler, Rashard Lewis, Ricky Davis, Josh Smith, Gerald Wallace (1 year contract), and Kedrick Brown.

At PF, target Amare Stoudemire, Okafor, Dwight Howard, Sweetney (a bit short, though) and as last resorts...Chris Anderson, David West, Moiso, Al Jefferson, Biedrins. 1 year deals: Gasol, Chandler and Randolph.

At C, Ming is the best. Also look at Bosh, Kaman, Araujo, Ramos, Mihm, Harrison, R.Swift. 1 year deals...Curry is great, and look at Haywood, Dalembert, Gadzuric.

Recent rosters is cool....fantasy draft too. Note that with a fantasy draft, which team you are (i.e. Philly, as you are considering) doesn't matter so much, as you will be picking players from all different teams. So if you are a 76ers fan, then by all means, draft your fantasy team for Philly. As a Knicks fan, when I did my fantasy drafts, I did it under the Knicks banner even though I had no "real" Knicks players on the team.
