shot control

Hiiii
has anyone else found shot control very difficult? It seems like I can never time it right, and my shots miss more than half the time, which i'm fine with because that's like real basketball, but when the CPU is hitting jumpers and threes 75% of the time it gets frustrating...
any insight?

I'd say just tighten up D. Play a few more games, and you should anticipate where the players go-on higher difficulties, they'll freestyle you and pull-up for the jumper at the top of the key, so be ready to send players for help. I haven't played Starter for a while, but they don't do it that often then.

And about shot timing, release about the time they hit the top of their jump, like, the moment before they start coming down. The shot looks a touch different if you've timed it right.
