Realistic Nets Trades ?

Postby Lazzaro on Tue Aug 30, 2005 4:26 am

hi everybody !

im ready to start a new dynasty and thought that the nets would be a great team to play with. BUT ..when i play a game outside dynasty mode to try out how i like the team i was not absolutley happy. i want kind of a younger squat. so i thought of 2 trades:

kidd for ray felton and sean may

ckiff robinson and bufford for gerald green and marc blount

i really would like that team but think its kind of unrealistic that boston would do the trade. also the bobcats trade would in real life not go through.

what do you guys think

( that english sux .. i know ;) )

I would never trade Kidd, I love that guy. As for Green, that sounds good. Its hard to know if its really that unrealistic but doesnt sound that bad.

Both trades in my opinions are very unrealistic. The nets wouldnt do that, and Felton is overrated in my opinion, he was projected later than 5 but CHA needed a PG. But for Gerald Green Celts GM says hell no because hes not trading young talent Green for both of them. But Blount you can take hes a retard.

While both trades would not happen in the NBA, I don't think they are too bad for your dynasty. You are giving up Kidd, a quality leader who can really help the bobcats for two younger players. I'd give that a (Y)

As for the Boston trade, I don't know. Cliff isn't the same calibre as Kidd and won't last much longer. Bufford I'm not all that familiar with while Green is a talent and Blount, well, he's Mark Blount. But it's your Dynasty and the trades aren't overly lopsided or anything so go for it. (Y)

Hmm, If you wanted a slightly younger squad trade Kidd for Steph Marbury, 4 years younger and Larry Brown would prolly prefer Kidd over Marbury.

Cliff Robinson you should trade mid-season to a team thats struggling but shouldnt be, a team that need a vet, and try and grab a 1st round pick for him.

i like the kidd trade a lot, new jersey got 2 very good hig-potential rookies, but charlotte got some prety good old point guard
