How to change jerseys in the dunk contest

Hello,

I am new to this forum. I registerd because I really need your help.

I really would like to play the NBA Live 2005 Dunk Contest with players such like Dominique Wilkins or Julius Erving in their classic team jerseys...

So, I already put Dominique Wilkins in the roster of the Atlanta Hawks, of course, but the problem is that I absolutely don't know how to edit the information that e.g. players of the Hawks should wear the classic 1985-86 home jersey instead of their current team uniform during the dunk contest.

I really tried a lot but nothing worked.

Is their anybody of you who could help me?

You could do this:
Go to the \NBA Live 2005\SGSM\uniforms\ and find the file for the jersey that you want him to wear; like in your case it would be atlac85a.viv (away) or atlac85h.viv (home) and put it in the above folder (\SGSM\). And then just rename it to atlaaway.viv.
Doing this will make Atlanta’s away jersey to the retro one, so if you want to play with the regular jerseys later, just delete the file you put in the SGSM folder.

thank you for your help but your advice also doesn't work. I tried it a couple of times (also some variations) but the Hawks player still wear their regular away jersey in the dunk contest...

Damn, that's right. My bad.

What you can do then, I don't know if this is the best way around it, but whatever.
Open up atlac85a.viv with BigGUI and export atlac85a.fsh. Then open it that with FshX and export the jersey texture.
Do the same thing with atlaaway.viv, but instead of extracting the jersey texture from atlaaway.fsh, import the retro jersey texture instead and save it. Then put the updated atlaaway.fsh in the \SGSM\ folder.
That method only replaces the jersey texture, not the numbers. If you want those as well, then open the atlac85a.viv and export the atlac85a_num.fsh and rename it to atlaaway_num.fsh and put that in the \SGSM\ folder. Do the same with the other two files in the .viv file (*_nreg and *_size).
This doesn’t get the name on the back of the jersey over though, and I have no idea how to get those to work.

There could very well be an easier way of doing this, but this is the method I could recall at the moment. Hope it'll do for you.
