black court?

black court?

Postby CodeRed on Tue Aug 23, 2005 7:32 am

Ok when I start the game it loads and the graphics all show and then turn to black, like the team logos at the first, they turn black. The intro movie plays perfect. The menus don't show up, and when I get to the game the court is black, yet the players, crowd..etc all show up great, the pause menu as well. What's the deal?

Specs:

256MB ram
Graphics are intergrated so like 32 of my ram is shared or whatever
1.6 ghz

It's a brand new acer 3002lci laptop, i'm not looking to upgrade the graphics card if thats the problem, not at this moment anyway. Is there another solution? Live '04 plays great with detail to the max, doesn't look like there is much difference in the min. requirements between the 2? Thanks for any help.

its ur video card

u need to upgrade or downgrade the drivers for it

if that doesnt work u will need a better video card to run the game

usually integrated cards can't carry the overall specifications for live 2005 to run smoothly. (N)

Man, that sucks...I was looking forward to playing it. What's a graphics card cost? The cheapest one that will work. I don't understand why '04 would work perfect. And everything runs smooth on '05, but like I say some things are jacked up on it. Why would the players, crowd..etc. look great, and not the court? Oh well.

first you need to check if you mobo has an agp-slot because it's possible it hasn't when it has onboard vga.

Try these steps:
1) Close Nba Live 2005.
2) Delete "settings" file in C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\NBA LIVE 2005\settings
3) Open the game and try to play.

Tell me if it works.

No, still black court and everything. It's kinda funny how the game plays smooth a silk but yet the freakin' court is not there.

The answer has already been given. And in case your situation is different, nobody can help without your system specs.
