I want to get a younger PF to replace Antonio Davis. My roster is as such ...

C E. Curry 69
PF T. Chandler 69
SF L. Deng 69
SG B. Gordon 73
PG K. Hinrich 75

C A. Biedrins 52
PF A. Davis 60
SF A. Nocioni 65
PG C. Duhon 59
PG J. Pargo 52
C O. Harrington 50
PG F. Williams 50

PF L. Funderburke 49
SF A. Griffin 48
SG E. Piatkowski 49
Any suggestions?

Wouldn't work, Davis' rating isn't high enough but I have a better idea. I'll trade Davis to Charlotte for the worst player on their roster (an offer they cannot refuse). This will give me the cap room I need to sign a better PF during the off season. Its not much but its a plan. What do you guys think? :?

you can't do that. all trades must be similar in salaries, with a 20% differential. so you can't just dump salaries.

antonio davis is $12 million, so you have to get back a player or a package of players whose salaries add up to around $12 million.

carlos boozer is a quality power forward whose salary matches antonio... around $12 million. but he's also higher rated than antonio so you'll have to give up nocioni too and take back some utah player who is rated around 50 and has a salary around $1-2 million.

if you really want dwight howard instead, let me know and i'll propose a trade offer for you...

Yeah but if a team has Cap Space, you CAN do that

Yeah if a team does have the cap space I can dump higher paid players in that team to clear up some cap room which is exactly what I did. This allowed me to sign Keon Clark whose younger and has higher ratings than Davis.
