ATI Radeon 9700 Pro

I had a GF4 Ti4200 but i was getting only 30fps. I bought an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro and now i'm getting 35fps. Is this right? The ATI Radeon 9700 Pro is supposed to have a 512bit core, 256bit mem, and close to 20gigs of mem bandwith. My specs are Athlon xp 2300, 512 ram. Is something wrong?

i think nothing's wrong. btw, those fps monitor proggies cost you 5fps in speed. turn them off, tweak some detail settings and enjoy the game.

but i use fraps. This card is supposed to kill the ti4200.

a 9800 kills a ti4200, a radeon 9700 doesn't. fraps slows your game down too. a constant framerate of 35fps isn't bad btw.
