Weird moves, help me pls.

hi. i have 2 questions.

please note that i'm using the default nba live 2005 ratings. i use a dual analog gamepad. i play 5 mins superstar setting. all sliders in default setting except for fatigue effect, user and cpu substitution.

1. there's a post that cpu does in the low post. eg. kevin garnett facing duncan. he kinds of bumps into duncan that duncan is pushed back(with animation, i guess you do this by pressing just forward toward the defender). this gives him space, then he uses pro-hop to get to the basket and dunk.

note: pro-hop by garnett is the same as other guards. i mean when u press pro-hop button, they jumpstep forward. unlike low post players(like duncan, shaq,E.curry) who just spins.

how come when against cpu, SHAQ CAN DO THE JUMPSTEP/ GUARD'S PRO-HOP WHEN HE USE GARNETT'S MOVE AS MENTIONED ABOVE. he bumps into the defender so that defender is pushed back(with animation), then he pro-hops like a guard.

can you really do this? i mean can guys like shaq or duncan pro-hop like guards pro-hop? or it's just cpu's exclusive move or a bug?

if this move is really possible to do, how do you do it? pls teach me.

2. regarding off-ball switch. this is as far as i know is how it works.

i use spurs and give ball to tony parker. i press off-ball(parker gets the gray player indicator) so i control ginobilli(he gets the blue player indicator) as. i move around using right analog moves then i press pass as i get into position. normally, ginobilli gets the ball and the blue player indicator.

but sometimes, i do the same thing. parker with the ball, i press offball to ginobilli. i move around to get position. then when i press the pass button, GINOBILLI GETS THE BALL WITH THE GRAY PLAYER INDICATOR BUT THE BLUE PLAYER INDICATOR MOVES TO NESTEROVIC.

is this a bug? or if it is really possible to do, how? please teach me.

thank you.

based on default ea roster.

i have tried it out. and found out that if a players speed + quickness+ dribbling = at least 180, he can do the standing ballfakes that guards do. (eg. press right on right analog stick while standing with ball will make him fake the ball down and swing it to the left side; instead of just placing it near his right hip and swinging the ball slightly as in the case of players with speed, quickness and drib lower than 180.)

also the pro-hop/ jumpstep that guards( kobe, mcgrady, etc can do) requires dribbling to be at least 50.

im just not sure if this is accurate enough but these are tested by me in individual practice mode.

so. shaq has speed+ quickness+ dribbling= 162 so he can't do quick(guard's) ball fakes.

while his dribbling is 39, way below 50 yet he still can pro-hop like a guard after pushing off defender.
