Roster update question?

I'm new and I was wondering do Ihave to have NBA Live for PC to get updated rosters?If not how do I update them.Thanks in advance.

The most readily available updates are for the PC. It is possible to download save files if you have the right hardware (Sharkport) as well as download official updates for the console (if you're playing the PS2 version, you must have a network adapter).
