Stat site, very nice for calc. ratings I assume

I am wondering if this site will help decide what ratings should be www.82games.com

Also If i was interested in doing my own realistic ratings can anyone give me one of their formulas to try out. Perhaps andrew or someone who has the formula. Thanks

I don't use stats-to-ratings formulas as I feel they're too rigid. As far as 82games.com is concerned, I don't really care for those stats at all.

82Games is an interesting site. The stats can be misleading and must be used with prudence. For recommendations, the only thing on 82Games I use is the jump shot percentage (because most of the big men are default terrible jump shooters when in reality they almost all have 15' range) as evidence. However, even the jump shot % can be misleading because some players take ill-advised shots or are forced to create their own shots, while other players are set up for a 16' jumper.
