How do you answer this question?
:? :? :?

Its easier when the guy is wide open then shoot... also don't just tap, hold it a little bit then release... thats the best way I can answer for you...

The release on jump shots on Live are out of this planet long compared to real life. Hold the button down for a LONG time before releasing, almost to the point where you start falling down on your jump. This leads to a crazy amount of blocked jump shots in the game.

Just go into practice mode with a so-so shooter (the good ones will hit anything in practice) and get a feel for when to release.

Yeah I spent about three hours shooting three pointers and jump shots with various guys when I first got the game.
