Anyone getting problems with Logitech controllers?

Postby skip2fast4u on Fri Mar 25, 2005 1:55 pm

I tried the Logitech wingman rumblepad and the rumblepad 2 and both have given me problems after about 2 weeks of using them. The same problem I get is one of the analog sticks doesnt move all the way meaning sometimes I can only move L to R or just Up and Down.
I calibrate the controllers and reinstalled them and drivers but still get the same problems. Does any one know if this is a XP SP2 issue? any help appreciated.

A LOOOOOT of people complain about their Logitech pads, esp. the Logitech Dual Action.

I've had the Dual Action for one year and a half and has never given me problems, but that is just me. :P

I've had my WingMan Rumple Pad since 2003 and it's working just fine for me; just minor problems really...
I guess it's hard to say, considering it all depends on how much you play, how you play and so on, but you can always return it to the store if it causes any problem.

One thing that is a bit annoying is that a while ago the pass button got stuck in a pushed-down possition, and it can't pop out. It still works the same but is rather annoying when playing.

only problem i had was few days ago: the left direction button got stuck,
and i thought i have to take it apart, but i was too lazy and somehow
it fixed itself  i mean the button jumbed out and now its fine...

my only complaint: it could have 2 more buttons
didn't think of it when buying it...

I have a dual action and it works great for me. This is my second one though. The first one broke after about two months (analog stick got stuck).
