Installing DB Commander on WinXP Problem

Postby SkipToMy_Lou on Sun Mar 13, 2005 9:48 am

Whenever I try to run the setup exe I get this error message:

16 Bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Anyone know why this is happening ?

I'm running Windows XP by the way...

You are probably missing the autoexec.nt file. Try searching your C: drive for it. If you find it, copy it to C:\windows\system32. Otherwise do what MS suggests. If you have to extract the file from the CD save it to another location as a backup so you won't have to do this again.
